Amanda founded Amanda Katherine Interiors on the belief that a home should tell a story of the family living in it, and that beauty and function were never meant to compete. Raised on a farm and trained in corporate project management, she designs homes built to last and guides every project with a clear plan from start to finish.
Our Process
Here’s how you’ll get a beautifully designed space
We dream.
It starts with your application and a call, followed by a kickoff meeting where we talk through how your family lives, what you love, and goals and needs for each space.
Then, I do.
I build your complete design: floor plans, hard finishes, furnishings, and 3D renderings, so you can see it all before anything is ordered. You share feedback until it feels just right.
So you can swoon!
I manage ordering, trades, and white-glove delivery behind the scenes. Then comes reveal day, when you walk into your finished home and exhale.

What if I don't know my design style?
I work with you using Pinterest & inspiration photos to help narrow down YOUR personal style! It’s usually a mix of styles and I think it’s SO much fun. I can quickly get a read on your style and you provide feedback to ensure we’re on the right track.
What if I have existing items I want to keep?
What if I’m not sure what I want to do in the space and I just need ideas?
How are purchases made?
All purchases—including furnishings, accessories, window treatments, wall coverings, and more—are handled through Amanda Katherine Interiors using trusted trade sources. In some cases, contractors may directly purchase specific products as needed.
Will I be able to make any revisions?
We have a detailed questionnaire process and consultation that asks the important questions and details we need to get a really good start. Then in the consultation we will talk through your exact wants and needs. After the design presentation, you will have the opportunity to make 1 revision. We have found clients don’t need any more than that because of our thorough process upfront.
How does delivery work?
Where do you source furniture?
Quality is our HIGHEST priority when it comes to sourcing furniture for your space. Every furnishing is sourced through my trade partners. That means heirloom-quality pieces, custom fabrications and upholstery that are not available at retail. The pricing reflects quality built to last.
