Shopping for rugs? This is my absolute favorite place to order rugs for your kitchen and entire home.
They have washable runners that are amazing for kitchens that are bound to get stains and spills and they’re all under $100.
Greige is the soulful replacement for an all-white plain and mundane kitchen. It’s a neutral color that provides depth, richness, complexity, and balance to your otherwise white kitchen.
Greige, as you may notice, is a neutral color invention— it’s silent yet powerful! And because neutral colors merge and blend closely, it can get difficult to distinguish them from one another; the difference is very minimal!
That’s why, I have come up with this list of 21 greige kitchen cabinets for every vibe and interior style!
Benjamin Moore Natural Cream Kitchen Cabinets
For my light and bright kitchen enthusiasts, Benjamin Moore’s natural cream is the serene greige color choice for your kitchen cabinets if you desire a soft, calming, and soothing vintage kitchen.
When adorned with wooden furniture; the color gives away the softest and the most velvety look.
Benjamin Moore’ Natural Cream enhances your white backdrop (walls), accompanying wood floors, and brass hardware details.
The color is strongly beige with only light hints of gray. The gray, in this greige, is what adds subdued and velvety values to BM’s natural cream.

Fact About BM’s Natural Cream Greige
The color is almost gentle and thrives in brass and rich metal details.
So, your kitchen cabinets will multiply in beauty and elegance when you add brass handles/pulls and brassy metal details with lighting or plumbing fixtures.
That’s not all, here’s another detail on the popular greige color: It goes beautifully with almost all accents you might have in the kitchen, whether it’s marble, wood, rose gold metal, or quartz.
A thought to keep in mind; avoid darker, grayish, or duller metals for your drawer handles. They don’t compliment the overall beauty of Benjamin Moore’s natural cream greige, they will sabotage your otherwise heavenly kitchen look.
Instead, always choose a gold metal finish or polished nickel.
Industrial Taupe Greige Kitchen Cabinets.
Industrial taupe has a heavy influence of the color gray (primary) and a strong and warm presence of the color beige(secondary).
Overall, the color is subdued, mute, and yet soft. Its appearance is warm, dark, moody, and industrial— perfect for an individual wanting raw, bare, and taupe kitchen cabinets.
Elle Decor calls this color ‘Drinks for two Taupe’ because something about this raw neutral beauty reminds you of a rustic and posh bar.
So, taupe cabinets are a great choice for someone with a rich and exotic taste.

What is Taupe Color and Greige Color?
The taupe color is produced in the same way greige is produced— by mixing gray and beige.
The only difference between taupe and greige is that greige is a combination of lighter shades of gray and beige. Taupe is an amalgamation of gray and brown color (beige comes from the brown family but is pale and tannish.)
Naturally, the taupe will be darker, deeper, and more pigmented. On the contrary, greige is lighter and brighter.
Just like greige, taupe can come in many neutral variations, depending on the ratios of both the colors present inside.
On the same note, they can be cooler or warmer depending on the color ratio. When beige is dominant, the greige color will be naturally warm and will attract light. When gray is dominant, the ambiance would be cooler, moody, and subdued.
Grey Greige Kitchen Cabinets: Farrow and Ball Purbeck Stone
On the calmer and cooler side, our first choice is Farrow and Ball Purbeck Stone. It’s dominantly gray with quiet hints of beige.
The overall appearance is crisp and grayish, but very light. The color gray in this greige isn’t on the darker values but instead has a lighter tint.
This gray greige goes astonishingly well with natural wood furniture and texture— the overall combination creates a modern and industrialist impact.
Although Farrow and Ball Purbeck stone would look exceedingly well with both lighter and darker wood furniture/accents— darker wood floor finish/interior will win the race when it comes down to choosing the best.
This gray greige is perfect for individuals who like to reminisce about history through decor— there’s definitely a nostalgic appeal to this color.
Combining it with nickel accents will only accentuate its timeless beauty. Moreover, some greige cabinets look innately beautiful when you contrast them with similar and warmer greige kitchen walls. Such is the case with F&B Purbeck Stone. It might not look as good with white walls as it would with greige kitchen walls.
Benjamin Moore’s Strands of Pearl: Greige Color Kitchen Cabinets
If you are unfamiliar with this color, let me tell you— Benjamin Moore’s Strands of Pearl screams ‘luxury’ and ‘extravagance’ in every sense of existence.
It’s a color of beauty and closely resembles the ethereal glow and luster of naturally acquired pearls. ‘Strands of Pearl’ greige kitchen color isn’t a mute or silent choice.
It has a very strong presence— other neutral colors may blend with the background, but this color stands out for itself and ensures to be the first and the most luxurious focus of every person who enters the kitchen.
Because the color is bright, you may want to complement it with a white backdrop. To enhance its magnificence, add gold metal accents throughout your kitchen.
A maple wooden floor bodes well with this excellent Benjamin Moore choice! You don’t have to contrast this with darker shades. This color Strands of Pearl glorifies in lighter hues and decor! So, keep it light and bright!
Again, this is a perfect choice for someone who wants a cleaner, richer (of course), brighter, and lighter kitchen ambiance.

Agreeable Grey Kitchen Cabinets: Greige Cabinet with White Countertops
Sherwin Williams’ ‘agreeable gray’ is one of the most popular greiges used by designers and homeowners and rightly so!
It’s light but also matte and subdued. It isn’t overpowering or exceedingly bright. Instead, it has a softer, lighter, and silent presence.
The color also has hints of subtle green undertones, giving your kitchen a vintage and timeless appeal. When matched with other warm and light colors, it gives your kitchen a comforting and calming atmosphere.
Here’s my personalized and honest review on the Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray
Agreeable gray almost looks white but is somehow better? So, adding white walls to your agreeable gray kitchen cabinets will accentuate, highlight, and enhance the appearance of the cabinet color.

The Lightest Greige Cabinet Paint: Farrow and Ball Strong White
For a kitchen that almost looks white and heavenly, go for the farrow and ball strong white greige. The color is very similar to white or may even look completely white when contrasted with non-white colors.
However, this lightest greige highlights itself with a soft glow when you add white walls to the contrast. That’s when you notice their true differences. The color has a smooth, light, velvety look— it has a matte finish and subdued chroma, that’s also the reason why Farrow and Ball strong white doesn’t look overly bright and blinding like a full-white kitchen.
Benjamin Moore’s Revere Pewter.
On the muddier side, we have Benjamin Moore’s Revere Pewter. It’s a mid-tone greige cabinet color and allows your kitchen to appear light, dewy, and creamy. With darker islands, the color weighs on the grayish side. With lighter color contrast, the color looks more beige and bright.
Because of its brown undertone, people may confuse the color to have a yellow cast, but it all comes down to the color contrast in the kitchen. In reality, Revere Pewter is a deeper tone with deep pigmentation. It’s easily considered a darker greige but darker here doesn’t mean black, gloomy, or without light.
Even the darkest shades of greige are still light because they are influenced by the color beige and light brown. With white walls, BM’s Revere Pewter almost looks light and comforting, not unwelcoming at all.

Benjamin Moore’s Edgecomb Gray
Benjamin Moore’s Edgecomb gray would be my top priority when going for greige kitchen cabinets. Although warm, this color goes perfectly well with a modern kitchen interior.
While other colors may weigh on the traditional & vintage timelessness, this is your color if you want a minimalist modern outlook for your kitchen.
It’s a beautiful beige with silent gray characteristics. The color appears very light and airy despite having an average LRV (<60). In natural lighting, the color looks vibrantly gray and fresh. In artificial lighting, it weighs on the beige side, appearing more soft, modern, and clean like off-white cabinets.
To keep it modern and minimalist, add black accents and hardware to your kitchen interior! Black is a beautiful color to match with Edgecomb gray.
Sherwin Williams Greige Kitchen Cabinets: Colonnade Gray Cabinet Paint
After Farrow and Ball Purbeck Stone, Colonnade Gray is the second gray-dominated greige color that I simply love in kitchen cabinets.
Again, this color isn’t overly bright or light like our other beige-dominating greige colors; it’s very cool, calm, and modern. At the same, it’s also fresh, clean, dewy, and crisp. Colonnade gray was a color inspired by the Colonnade pillar, so it also lives up to providing a classic and historic reminisce— an era of glorious stone architecture!
You can witness beige coming to life in the colors’ appearance when artificial lights make their way into the kitchen. So, it’s a color with cooler and warmer properties at the same time.
Greige Kitchen Cabinets with Black Countertop
Nothing can enhance greige color’s beauty more than the color black!
You don’t need too many black-colored accents to enhance your greige color cabinets, small details are enough. You can use black in the drawer pulls, the black countertop, black lamps, and black plumbing fixtures.

Dunn Edwards Shady
Dun Edwards’ ‘shady greige color’ is probably the lightest and softest gray on the list. There’s tranquility and sophistication in this color choice.
The color leans more on the neutral gray side and works well with almost all color schemes. Beige in this color mix provides a blur and vintage effect, making the color a timeless and soft choice.

Sherwin Williams Anonymous Greige Cabinet with White Countertop
Want something on the darker side of the greige color palette? Well, you have Sherwin Williams Anonymous Greige. With a green undertone and prominent gray presence, this color is perfect to add life to your off-white creamy walls and lighter granite countertops.
Its mute tone and appearance are very subdued; this is also the reason why this color appears beautifully deep and pigmented.
Sherwin Williams greige collection is all about reliving vintage style that isn’t far away from a modern ambiance.
Dorian Gray Cabinets
Sherwin Williams Mink: Dark Greige Kitchen Cabinets
This is another great choice for your kitchen cabinet if dark but neutral cabinetry is your vision. Although the color is very bold and deep, the existence of gray and undertones of beige keeps the color on the warmer side so it’s not a cool black.
The violet undertone is a glam touch — it adds extravagance and grandeur to your kitchen! The color almost turns into a warm beigey color in natural sunlight.
To bring the best out of Sherwin’s Mink, contrast it with lighter wooden flooring and creamy/off-white walls.
Urbane Bronze: Iron Ore Kitchen Cabinet
Urbane Bronze is definitely a calm and cool color. Visually, it resembles an iron ore and is a great choice for individuals who want darker greige cabinets but on the cooler side.
While some individuals combine white upper cabinets with Urbane Bronze cabinets to limit/balance the dark ambiance. Many like the possibility of adding drama and mood to their kitchen by going all the way with Urbane Bronze.
When you subtly add Urbane Bronze to your kitchen, the result is modern, posh, and sophisticated. You may want to use cooler and whiter lights instead of warmer light bulbs to keep the room temperature cool and alluring.
These are my go-to light bulbs for our house. I always look for a bulb that’s 3000 Kelvins. It’s the perfect balance of not too white and not too warm or yellow either. They can be difficult to find but Target has them!
How to balance Urbane Bronze?
- White/off-white countertop.
- Use Urbane Bronze only on the island.
- Use white for the rest of the shelves and cabinetry.
- Keep the walls white.
- Use silver hardware over gold or other similar colors.
- Add a pop of black in your kitchen
To add contrast, choose a warmer and highly pigmented wood finish and furniture.

Warm Taupe Greige Kitchen Cabinets
Light Gray Supermatte by Semihandmade
With the correct lighting and wooden furniture, the light gray supermatte cabinet paint color almost looks like a soft nude pink color. The color choice blooms with shiny brass hardware and milky white walls/countertop.
Add light wooden furniture to the contrast and you will have a beautiful kitchen!
Accessible Beige
Accessible Beige by Sherwin Williams is a warm and cozy color and it looks great with and without natural lighting. For one, this color usually shows no blue or yellow undertones.
Additionally, it has no pink undertones either so the color goes really well with honey oak wooden furniture and flooring. Because it’s a warm color, I highly suggest contrasting it with other warm-toned wall paints if you want a cozier kitchen.
When combining with cool whites, accessible gray will appear prominently gray and not so warm as it would with creamy white. Similarly, choose warmer accents and hardware to bring out the true warmth of this color.
Farrow and Ball Cornforth White & Navy Blue Eclectic Kitchen
Farrow and Ball Cornforth White is a light-tone gray and may change its appearance with exposure to different settings. It can appear more gray or less gray depending on the colors and lighting present in the kitchen.
Because this color has violet undertones, Cornforth White may sometimes look slightly purple.
It’s a great choice for a navy blue eclectic kitchen because it adds warmth and depth to the navy color in the kitchen.
Using white may throw off the vintage and old-school vibe of your eclectic kitchen because it may cool down the surroundings. On the other hand, Cornforth White is a wave of fresh warmth in eclectic kitchens.
