Designer by Your Side is for all of that.
HOW IT WORKS:
You purchase a bucket of design hours to use how you’d like. Each bucket is flexible. Some clients use their full 10 or 20 hours in two or three working meetings and come out with a complete set of decisions. Others spread the hours across a longer timeline as questions come up. Whatever fits the project.

What if I don't know my design style?
I work with you using a combination of questionnaires to get to know your preferences and Pinterest to help narrow down YOUR personal style. It’s usually a mix of styles and I think the process is SO much fun. With my detailed process and your honest feedback, we can pin point your style pretty quickly!
What if I have existing items I want to keep?
We can absolutely work those special pieces or accessories that hold sentimental value into the design. While at your home we will ask you about the current space and which items you are hoping to keep.
What if I’m not sure what I want to do in the space and I just need ideas?
Totally understand! That’s exactly what we can offer during the 2 hour consultation. Once I see the space in person and talk through your wants and needs and budget, I can make recommendations for things to consider, along with types of furniture, colors, layout, accessories, and where to shop.
How much can we actually get done in 10 hours?
A 10-hour bucket typically covers one focused project: a whole-home paint plan, or finish selections for a single bath, or furniture layout and sourcing direction for a main living space. 20 hours opens up multi-room work, a kitchen-and-bath pairing, or bringing in contractors for light construction. On our first call, I’ll give you a specific estimate of what fits your project and which bucket makes sense.
What's the difference between Designer by Your Side and Full Service Design?
Designer by Your Side is real-time, conversational support. We work through decisions together in working meetings or over email, and you execute as we go. Renovations or full service design is a complete printed design packet delivered at the end of our project, with every selection specified for your contractor to build from.
Can we meet virtually if I'm not in Omaha?
Yes! About a third of Designer by Your Side hours happen over Zoom. I work with clients across the Omaha metro in person and with clients all over virtually. The service works the same either way!
